- Participant: A User who takes quizzes, votes, views results, or interacts with Content.
- Personal Information: Information that identifies or can reasonably be linked to a person.
- Share Links: Any link, QR code, embed link, or URL generated by the Platform that allows quizzes and related pages to be accessed from anywhere.
- AI Features: Any feature that uses artificial intelligence to assist with content generation, processing, or categorization.
- Service Providers: Vendors that help us operate the Platform (payments, hosting, email, analytics, storage, AI, security).

1. Scope and Consent

- Log and usage data: pages viewed, features used, quiz attempts, time on page, timestamps, referral URLs
- Approximate location: derived from IP address (not precise GPS unless you explicitly provide it)

4. AI Features and Data Handling (Important)
4.1 Inputs and Outputs
If you use AI Features, we process the inputs you provide (for example: prompt text, PDFs, URLs, source text) and generate outputs (for example: quiz questions and answers).

4.2 AI Accuracy and Risk
AI outputs may be incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or biased. Creators remain responsible for verifying accuracy before publishing.

4.3 What We May Do With AI Data
To operate AI Features and protect the Platform, we may:
- Process inputs and outputs to provide the AI feature
- Log usage for cost controls, quotas, and debugging
- Apply abuse detection and safety filtering
- Maintain audit trails to enforce policies
- Restrict or disable AI access for suspected abuse or high-risk patterns

4.4 Third-Party AI Providers
AI Features may be powered by third-party providers. When AI is used, relevant data may be transmitted to those providers for processing. Their handling of data may be governed by their terms and policies.

4.5 Do Not Submit Sensitive Data
Do not submit:
- Government IDs, payment card numbers, medical data, or sensitive personal data
- Confidential information you are not authorized to share
- Trade secrets of others
If you submit such data, you do so at your own risk.

If a Creator publishes a quiz and shares it using Share Links, Participants may access quiz pages and results. Depending on settings and feature behavior, some information may be visible (for example: quiz title, category, results summaries, leaderboard positions).

6.2 Creator Responsibility
Creators are responsible for what they publish and share, including ensuring they have the rights to distribute content and that they provide appropriate notices if they collect information from Participants outside the Platform.

6.3 Third-Party Platforms
If you share a Share Link on a third-party platform, that platform may collect information independently (for example: tracking or click analytics). We are not responsible for third-party privacy practices.

7. Data Retention
We retain information as long as reasonably necessary to:
- Operate the Platform
- Maintain records and audit trails
- Enforce policies and prevent abuse
- Comply with legal obligations
Retention periods vary based on data type, risk, and legal requirements.

8. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. No system is 100 percent secure. You are responsible for securing your account and devices.

QuizNuggets operates inside the CrownThrive ecosystem and may use shared operational systems for:

- Security and fraud prevention
- Operational governance

We may apply internal standards including the Cultural Imprint Engine (CIE) to guide moderation and integrity enforcement. This may require processing and review of Content and related metadata to maintain trust and safety.
